Licorice roots
Introduction
The licorice root, as known Glycyrrhiza Glabra is a perennial herbaceous plant, which grows in moderate climate, specially in southern Europe, middle east and some part of west Asia. Iran is considered one of those countries, which is benefitted of this climate and Fars province in particular, in which Sepidan Osareh factory is based, making part of this privilege circle. The normal size of raw licorice roots vary from 10 to 20 cm.
Sepidan Osareh can provide the cleaned licorice roots, according to customers request in stick or grinded forms. The major customers come from west Europe, middle east and far east countries such as China, Japan and many more.
The use of licorice root has many different ways; but the most popular is boiling and brewing it in hot water; this traditional method has long story in the past and because of its effectiveness, still being used in enormous scale in all over the world.
Thanks to usage of HLPC and metal detector in our lab and productive establishment lines, Sepidan Osareh has the capacity to produce 20 MT of premium licorice extract products practically in daily basis.
These products include: licorice extract powder, licorice paste(liquid), licorice blocks and many other ones.
